Address gaps without inventing experience

How does the CV Matcher work?

AI analyzes the resume text and job description to estimate alignment in skills, experience and role keywords. It returns an overall percentage, detailed indicators and recommendations. The percentage is a model estimate, not a published arithmetic average of the indicators or simply a keyword count. It may vary on reruns and differs from the general resume grader score.

What is a good match score?

Astr labels matches excellent at 80 or above, good at 60–79, average at 40–59, and poor below 40. These are tool-specific advisory bands, not employer standards or an acceptance guarantee. Review mandatory requirements even with a high percentage. Never add skills, qualifications or achievements you do not have just to raise it.

Can I enter only the job link?

Yes. You can paste the job link and we'll try to pull the details. For the most accurate report, paste the full job description when possible.

Does matching support Arabic resumes and job descriptions?

The tool supports Arabic and English text and reports in the interface language. Upload a text-based PDF and paste the complete duties and requirements; a job title alone is not enough. Review terminology and recommendations, especially when the resume and job description use different languages.

Is matching free, and what are the limits?

Sign-in is required. A free account gets 3 matches in total, not a daily-renewing allowance. Pro includes up to 20 analyses per 24 hours. Any extra referral credits are separate from the ordinary allowance. These limits are independent of the resume grader's daily checks.
